I recently became a volunteer for BBBS and a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters East Nashville Community Engagement Council and I'm very excited about how we're going to impact childrens' lives here in East Nashville. I am also a mentor, pending a match. I can't wait to meet my "Little."

The mission of ENCEC:

To be an active membership group that is designed to work towards engaging the community to support the agency's mission, thereby ensuring that every eligible child in East Nashville has the benefit of a one-to-one mentor in their life.

East Nashville is THE MOST hands on community that I've been a part of. EN is a passionate and "ready to take action" neighborhood.

If you have considered being a mentor to a child or want to serve on the council, please contact me. We are always looking for more volunteers and members of the council. There are several mentoring programs available and require as little as 1-2 hours a week.
